JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you ready to take the next step and lead within our project logistics technical solutions team?

Your Role

As a member of the Global Project Logistics Management Team, this position will lead and manage the Technical Team, which includes Chartering, Transport Engineering, Health & Safety, Legal, and Mobile Execution. The role involves contributing to and delivering medium to long-term technical growth strategies to enhance Kuehne+Nagel Project Logistics's global market leadership.

Your Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop strategic solutions for all technical groups within the Project Logistics business, as defined by the Global Project Logistics Management Team.
2. Lead and motivate the technical solution organization on both global and national levels, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
3. Manage recruitment and development of team members to support growth and market leadership.
4. Oversee technical tender proposals and support their implementation post-award.
5. Identify and pursue potential new solutions for customers, collaborating with business development and Kuehne+Nagel entities.
6. Prepare investment plans and applications for new technical solutions to support growth.
7. Manage assignments of the Mobile Execution team.
8. Assist legal teams with reviews and stakeholder alignment on a global scale.
9. Work closely with various stakeholders within Project Logistics and other business units within Kuehne+Nagel.

Your Skills and Experiences

1. Master’s degree in logistics, economics, or a related field.
2. Extensive professional experience in the Project Logistics industry.
3. Strong project management experience.
4. Proven leadership skills in managing multifunctional teams.
5. Detailed knowledge in areas such as Chartering, Engineering, HSE, and Legal.
6. Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
7. Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
8. Strong understanding of budgeting and resource allocation.
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
10. Team player attitude.
