Job Description: Technical Project Manager at Siemens Gamesa

Join our global team at Siemens Gamesa, a leader in renewable energy and part of Siemens Energy, committed to making sustainable and affordable energy a reality. We are seeking a talented Technical Project Manager for our Module Management team within R&D, responsible for coordinating projects related to Loads and Control Systems for wind turbine development.

Responsibilities

1. Support project scoping and align with stakeholders to meet requirements (planning, budget, functionality).
2. Ensure business success, customer satisfaction, and stakeholder management.
3. Make timely decisions on issues and escalate when necessary.
4. Assist with resourcing activities alongside Team Leads and Department Heads.
5. Lead project teams to foster cooperation and efficiency.
6. Manage technical specialists to realize customer-specific components and solutions.
7. Coordinate engineering tasks across regional units and interfaces.
8. Perform technical and project risk management.
9. Manage risks, opportunities, interfaces, and project governance.

Qualifications

• MSc in Wind Energy, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Turbine Control Systems and/or Aeroelastic Load Simulations, Design, and Validation; knowledge of Turbine Load Certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, innovative, and collaborative skills.
• Excellent communication skills and project oversight.
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
