Leibniz University Hannover is seeking a University Professor in Construction Process Engineering. The role involves representing research, developing sustainable building methods, and teaching in both German and English. The university offers excellent working conditions and promotes diversity.
Leibniz University Hannover invites applications for a University Professorship (m/w/d) in Construction Process Engineering at salary scale W3 NBesO, starting as soon as possible. The university offers an environment of innovation with over 28,000 students, multiple research clusters, and extensive infrastructure.
The successful candidate will represent research in construction process engineering, focusing on developing methods for digital, economical, and sustainable building processes. Key areas include digital building process engineering, management of construction data, advancement of Building Information Modelling (BIM), and automation of construction processes, especially at the interface of digital design and automated construction, emphasizing site and prefabrication processes. Active participation in interdisciplinary research and securing large-scale projects with high international visibility are expected. Teaching will be conducted in German and English within civil and environmental engineering.
Applicants should have an established international profile in building process management. Practical construction experience is welcome but not required. Experience in research project acquisition and multidisciplinary research is essential. Proven scientific excellence through publications and successful funding acquisition is necessary.
