Job Description:

Our client is a leader in data virtualization, providing unmatched performance, unified access to enterprise, Big Data, Cloud, and unstructured sources, and agile data services provisioning and governance at less than half the cost of traditional data integration.

As a Sales Director - Public Sector, you will manage and execute direct sales in the DACH region. The office is in Munich, with remote work options across Germany.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned territory.
  • Research and identify customer prospects and targets.
  • Meet individual sales quotas based on revenue targets.
  • Achieve customer acquisition and expansion goals.
  • Collaborate with partner channels to identify, onboard, and drive revenue through channel and alliance partners.
  • Execute customer acquisition strategies via direct inbound and partner ecosystems.
  • Maintain sales forecasts and report on sales performance.
Skills & Experience:
  • Over 10 years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • More than 5 years of selling enterprise software in the Public Sector.
  • Knowledge of Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Databases, BI, Data Analytics, AI/ML products.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT architectures and data strategies.
  • Experience managing all sales cycle stages from prospecting to contract negotiation.
  • Ability to present technical and business solutions clearly.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse customer roles.
  • Strong organizational and prospecting skills.
  • Team player with high integrity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or engineering; MBA preferred.
