Job Description:

As a computational scientist at Simreka you will play a key role in further development of this simulation platform and delivery to customers who are manufacturing companies in a variety of domains. Responsibilities :

• Developing algorithms and deploying solutions to complex simulation problems in line with Simreka goals
• Bridging the gap between business requirements, mathematics and software development work
• Staying on top of new developments in scientific computing and work to incorporate relevant ones in the Simreka products
• Collaborating with the team to create best customer experience
• Working together with partners such as SAP
• Engaging in team and personal development opportunities

Required profile :

• MS or PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry, scientific computing, applied mathematics, statistics or a related field
• Track record of algorithm development and programming in languages such as C, C++, Python and R
• Knowledge of computational architectures and data management is a plus
• Background or project work in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field is an added advantage
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivation
• Communication skills in English
• Communication skills in German or Dutch
• Enthusiasm about learning and growing at Simreka
• Genuine interest in advanced software products, intellectually curious and ambitious
