We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) to become part of our Seller Center – Addon Team in Hamburg or remotely within the EU.

With SCAYLE, we offer our in-house developed eCommerce infrastructure as a licensed product for online retailers who want to grow quickly and innovatively. SCAYLE was launched as the first API solution for online retailers who want to scale their stores with ABOUT YOU’s proven infrastructure.

Technologies involved include Python and Redis.

What you will do

• Design and deploy innovative features for the Seller Center to enhance the online retail experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers to brainstorm and create effective solutions.
• Utilize the SCAYLE platform to manage product and order information efficiently.
• Enhance application performance through strategic SQL query optimizations.
• Engage in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and foster ongoing improvement.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure consistent service for users.
• Explore AI-supported features to streamline workflow processes.

Who you are

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Experience with Django 5.x, Tailwind, HTMX, or other lightweight JS frameworks (or motivation to learn them).
• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis, or equivalent data storage.
• Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively maintaining code quality.
• Experience working in an English-speaking environment.

Nice to have

• Excellent coding skills with Python.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with Greenfield projects or startup environments, with the ability to adapt products quickly to market needs.
