Title: Presales Consultant

Location: Remote; must be located in Germany

Job Summary: Drive solutions to sales engagements, marketing and business development, presenting Planning solutions, mapping customer requirements to solution capabilities, collaborating with Professional Services in proposal creation.

Increase, grow and develop the teams' expertise in the region in the area of planning.

Contribute to requirements and specification gathering for the Planning solution.

About the Team: The Centric planning team leads the market in delivering first-class planning solutions for the fashion and retail industries. It comprises a dynamic team of technical and business experts delivering end-to-end planning systems and driving customer project success. The team is home-based across different countries worldwide. The role reports to the VP of Planning.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze customer business requirements to propose Planning Solutions.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales Team to qualify prospects.
  3. Deliver in-depth pre-sales presentations of the entire Centric Planning Solution suite.
  4. Configure Centric Software solutions through product presentations and supporting materials.
  5. Produce specifications such as Solution Scope Documents and Use Case Documents, highlighting product features and benefits.
  6. Analyze requirements and design solutions for complex customer needs and pain points.
  7. Prepare responses for RFI/RFP requests.
  8. Understand customer technology requirements to support Proposal and Project teams.
  9. Contribute to future solution development, implementation methodology, and customization standards.
  10. Participate in marketing campaigns, ensuring sales pitches align with market and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar.
  • Availability for travel, depending on location and industry expertise in Fashion / Specialty Retail Planning.
  • Significant experience with Software Planning, Optimization, Analytics, including system demonstrations and presentation skills.
  • Technical knowledge of database and BI data science applications.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to develop relationships of confidence and trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Adaptability to rapidly evolving technology and market environments.
  • Proven track record of pre-sales success.
