This position is on-site in Hamburg or remote.

Online fraud is organized crime and is increasing. At RISK IDENT, we aim to create a world without online fraud by developing software products for fraud prevention. Become the Sherlock Holmes of the internet and help us and our clients solve real fraud cases! Technology is our tool in this ongoing fight against crime.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (m/w/d) to strengthen our sales team, starting immediately. You will be responsible for new client acquisition, managing your sales pipeline, and maintaining existing customer relationships. By continuously monitoring the market and competitors, you will identify revenue opportunities and expand into new business areas using your industry knowledge. You will have significant autonomy and creative freedom in developing and executing our sales strategy, actively shaping our company's growth.

Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and actively acquiring new clients
  • Exploring new business areas, including international markets
  • Qualifying leads and initial needs assessment
  • Proactively managing first contacts and expanding your network
  • Connecting customer needs with our solutions
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams (Product, Data Science, Marketing, Engineering)
  • Participating in webinars, conferences, and industry events
  • Attending the RISK IDENT “Sales Academy” for sales training and personality profiling
  • Potential role adjustment towards closing or account management
Requirements:
  • Several years of relevant experience in B2B solution sales, preferably with complex and technical products
  • A broad network of decision-makers in the enterprise segment
  • Experience and industry knowledge in fraud prevention, e-commerce, telecommunications, or financial services is advantageous
  • Sales competence in complex stakeholder environments
  • Degree or comparable qualification, ideally with a business focus
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset, confident demeanor, strong communication and negotiation skills, active listening
  • Passion, drive, creativity, and a hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Experience with common CRMs
