About the Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will refine our platform and work on exciting projects for our marketplace for luxury watches. Our development infrastructure is based on Java 11, IntelliJ with Maven, and GIT. Your experience as a web developer enables you to manage and maintain your own code.

What You Can Expect

• Operate the infrastructure for our global marketplace for luxury watches in a data center in Karlsruhe, Germany.
• Develop our platform and tools using Java 11, JSP, IntelliJ with Maven, Jenkins, and GIT.
• Work within a highly efficient, flexible, and easily expandable software architecture.
• Engage in exciting and versatile projects (excluding HTML/CSS).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our tools and processes.
• Maintain a comprehensive overview of our technologies and systems, understanding what works and how.

What Sets You Apart

• Web development is your main expertise, complemented by generalist qualities.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field.
• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Java and maintaining your own code.
• Enjoy working independently, researching, and learning new systems.
