Position Details

HIRING SALARY: $31,255.86 - $34,409.94 annually. All salary calculations will start at the minimum.

HOURS: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday

Primary Duties:
  1. Review initial Residency Declaration documents for completeness and verify information through Department of Motor Vehicles, State Board of Elections, and other sources to determine eligibility for in-state tuition.
  2. Review documentation submitted by students requesting residency exemptions or waivers, verify accuracy, and post appropriate exemption codes.
  3. Evaluate high school and GED transcripts, and post developmental education exemptions as appropriate.
  4. Evaluate official college/university transcripts and post/evaluate official test scores for AP, Cambridge AICE, CLEP, IB, DSST, and Excelsior College Exams.
  5. Post and evaluate foreign and military credentials, exemption credits by certification, and other alternative credits including industry certifications and Tech Prep.
  6. Post and evaluate ACT, SAT, and PERT scores.
Minimum Training and Experience:

High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of progressively responsible clerical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of TCC policies, procedures, and protocols related to Admissions & Records/College Registrar.
  • Knowledge of the Family Rights and Privacy Act.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, printers, Microsoft Office, and Outlook (Word and Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, and supervise office support staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage confidential information, and operate standard office equipment.
  • Skill in keyboarding, data entry, and basic data analysis.
