We have transformed LIDAR technology from an analog device with thousands of components into an elegant digital device powered by a chip-scale laser array and CMOS sensor. Our high-resolution LIDAR sensors are used in autonomous cars, drones, and various other applications. We are looking for a motivated Account Executive

to sell our sensors and support existing key customers in the D.A.CH region, focusing on the industrial automation and robotics industry. This position is remote, preferably based in Germany.

Responsibilities:
  1. Engage in a consultative, relationship-driven sales process with high-value customers across various verticals, from lead identification to networking with decision-makers, presenting Ouster’s technology credibly, and managing evaluation, pilot, integration, design win, and production stages.
  2. Serve as the primary relationship holder with key account decision-makers and influencers, collaborating with product management, customer success, and field engineering teams to manage and nurture existing customer relationships, addressing technical and non-technical questions to ensure successful sensor deployments.
  3. Cross-sell within existing customer accounts, leveraging successful projects to identify new opportunities within the same organization.
  4. Focus on key priority accounts, and be accountable for aggressive sales goals to rapidly grow the business.
  5. Identify new customer requirements and communicate these to product management and engineering teams.
  6. Respond promptly to customer needs and work cross-functionally internally to satisfy and grow relationships.
  7. Utilize preferred sales methodologies and tools to prospect and manage all sales cycle stages.
  8. Maintain internal reporting and forecasting for business operations and finance teams.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Proven track record of exceeding sales and/or business development goals.
  2. Success in hunter roles, finding and winning new business, managing sales from prospecting to closing.
  3. 5+ years of technical sales experience, including selling to C-level executives of enterprise accounts, including Fortune 500 companies.
  4. Curious and analytical mindset, able to understand customer needs and motivations.
  5. Resourceful and creative in achieving goals efficiently.
  6. Hungry, results-oriented, and highly motivated to learn and deliver results.
  7. Organized, diligent, and proactive in follow-up and maintaining momentum.
  8. Polished, relatable, and able to manage conversations smoothly across all levels of an organization.
  9. Self-aware, humble, and receptive to constructive feedback.
  10. Technically proficient, motivated to learn about company technology and products, capable of describing technical concepts effectively.
  11. Trained in reputable sales methodologies.
  12. Skilled in CRM systems and prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and Groove.
  13. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an engineering field.
  14. Experience selling to automotive and industrial sectors is a plus.
  15. Experience with technical hardware or SaaS sales is a plus.
  16. Fluent in German and English.
  17. This is a remote position, preferably based in Germany.
