Job Description:

The Romaco Group is one of the world's leading specialist suppliers of processing and packaging technology. Divided into the Processing, Tableting, and Packaging divisions, the company develops system solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food, and chemical industries. To reinforce our team, we are looking for a qualified and dedicated Sales and Managing Director (m/f/d).

Key responsibilities
  • Implement a local marketing and sales strategy including the necessary personnel and processes.
  • Increase the German and Austrian market share by selling existing product lines and identifying further product opportunities for the local market.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Germany & Austria team to increase market share.
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with local and international Key Accounts.
  • Identify sales opportunities, develop proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Win and monitor large projects with high technical content.
  • Increase market coverage.
  • Monitor Customer Service business.
  • Collaborate closely with the HQ and sites in Europe.
  • Establish Romaco’s packaging and processing technology in Germany & Austria.
  • Participate in industry-related trade fairs and maintain industry-relevant networks.
Requirements
  • Technical or commercial degree or equivalent industry experience; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience, including 5 years in strategic management within the engineering-based local and international pharma industry (packaging/processing).
  • Technical background with proven strategic management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the regional market and relevant industry sales networks.
  • Proven sales and business development experience with a track record of success.
  • Exceptional customer orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable, loyal, and responsible for compliance.
