Team and Mission

This role is part of our Safety Business Unit, focusing on safer, greener, and inclusive industries and transportation systems.

Responsibilities
  1. Deploy and implement Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, initially for end-to-end Equipment Management.
  2. Link system design and verification throughout the lifecycle, collaborating with Process Method Tool & Data teams.
  3. Create instructions, manuals, guidelines, and training materials for MBSE methodologies.
  4. Integrate MBSE environment with Configuration Management and Industrial Environment for full lifecycle support.
  5. Define and maintain the equipment data model.
  6. Optimize methodologies within the PMTD environment and implement standard engineering practices.
  7. Identify training needs and develop training programs in collaboration with training organizations.
  8. Provide Equipment Management support tailored to customer requirements.
  9. Implement methods independently and suggest improvements.
  10. Prepare documentation and present work results.
Qualifications

A relevant degree in Aerospace Engineering, System Engineering, or equivalent, with up to 4 years of study or extensive vocational training. Alternative pathways for acquiring the necessary knowledge and experience are also acceptable.

Desired Skills and Competencies
  • Experience in system responsibilities, configuration management, and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with standards like ABD0200, ABD0100, and AP2763.
  • Experience with equipment/software maturation, DoA, and Airworthiness from MS1 to MS4.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems, interface management, and certifications (ASEP, CSEP).
  • Proficiency with systems engineering tools such as Cameo, ICDMS, DOORS, 3DX Enovia, Catia.
  • Understanding of relevant standards like ISO/IEEE 15288, ARP 4754A, DO178C, DO254.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and assertiveness skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment, including remote work.
  • Language skills: Negotiation level in English and German; French and Spanish are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
