Job Description

Built in the cloud from day one, our services run on various AWS platforms such as ECS Fargate and Lambda, utilizing a multi-account strategy. We foster a DevOps culture, where development teams manage their own CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Our Cloud Network Engineering Team focuses on creating reusable, modular cloud networking infrastructure to support our development teams in deploying and operating services securely and efficiently.

• Provide and maintain secure, scalable networks and communication middleware to ensure reliable connectivity for our critical applications and partner integrations.
• Enhance infrastructure and deployment automation using tools like Terraform, AWS Lambda, and Python, supporting engineering teams with networking solutions.
• Optimize the reliability and cost-efficiency of our AWS networking infrastructure.
• Guide and empower engineering teams to further develop our DevOps culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS services including VPC, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, Direct Connect, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB, ECS, IAM, Lambda, and S3.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, ideally Python.
• Experience managing enterprise-grade networking solutions such as VPNs or leased lines is preferred.
• Skills in low-level network debugging (e.g., tcpdump), VPN technologies (IPSEC, GRE), and Cisco IOS.
• A passion for automation and process improvement with a focus on security.
• A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Effective communication skills in an international English-speaking environment.
