Reporting Line: Executive Director Global Finance and Transformation

Your main responsibilities are:

• Lead and manage financial transformation initiatives, focusing on efficiency improvements and strategic realignment
• Collaborate with executive management to identify and implement cost-saving measures and strategic initiatives
• Develop, validate, and monitor business cases in biotech R&D, product supply, and enabling functions to achieve financial and strategic goals
• Evaluate and optimize high-level investment decisions and contribute to value generation in acquisitions, divestments, and post-merger integrations
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the financial impacts of strategic transformation initiatives and investment projects
• Adopt best practices to improve financial performance and operational excellence sustainably
• Identify and implement business process optimization and automation opportunities for transformative impacts
• Provide strategic analysis and decision support for senior leadership
  
  

What you have to offer:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Natural Sciences, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in business transformation, strategic consulting, corporate finance, or related areas, ideally within the life sciences industry
• Solid understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical value chain
• Proven experience in managing complex transformation projects and implementing cost-saving initiatives
• Strong skills in developing business cases and financial valuation
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with a focus on implementation
• Strong communication skills, engaging effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous
