Qualifikationen

• Praktische Erfahrung mit Automotive Core Tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D).
• Fließend in Deutsch (erforderlich) und sicher in Englisch (schriftlich und mündlich).
• Selbstmotiviert mit einem proaktiven Ansatz zur Problemlösung.

Aufgaben

• Durchführung qualitätsbezogener Aktivitäten während der Vorproduktionsphase.
• Entwicklung und Pflege von PFMEAs, Kontrollplänen und Prozessflussdiagrammen.
• Koordination und Durchführung von Messsystemanalysen (MSA) und Produktprüfungen.

Now Hiring : Quality Engineer (m / f / d) | Full-time | Salzgitter, Germany

Job Type : Full-time

Are you ready to shape the future of automotive innovation? We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Engineer (m / f / d) to join our team in Salzgitter . In this role, you’ll contribute directly to ensuring high-quality standards during pre-series production while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities :

• Execute quality-related activities during the pre-production phase (APQP, VDA RGA, CPMP, etc.)
• Plan and conduct sample submissions and re-qualifications in line with VDA Volume 2
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, control plans, process flowcharts, and supporting documentation
• Coordinate and perform measurement system analysis (MSA) and product audits (VDA Volume 6.5)
• Handle customer, supplier, and internal complaints
• Support welded assemblies and cold forming production areas

Your Profile :

• Practical experience with Automotive Core Tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D)
• Familiarity with VDA 6.3 , IATF 16949 , and customer-specific requirements (e.g., VW, Mercedes, Volvo)
• Background in cold forming, toolmaking, and welding technologies
• Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills
• Self-driven with a proactive mindset and ability to manage complex problems
• Fluent in German (required) and confident in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification with a focus on quality
• Several years of relevant experience in the automotive or supplier industry
• Familiarity with Six Sigma (Green / Black Belt) and QM planning methods
• Solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory frameworks
