General Maintenance Technician (Mechanic), Vilseck

We are seeking a dedicated General Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) to join our team in Vilseck, Germany. This is a full-time position starting in May 2025.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and repairing vehicles, machinery, and trucks (Light & Heavy).
• Maintaining yard/field equipment such as forklifts, cranes, service trucks, welders, trailers, generators, etc.
• Performing regular maintenance and overseeing diagnostic tests to identify issues.
• Assembling mechanical components and designing maintenance plans.
• Monitoring inventory, maintaining work logs, and ordering parts as needed.
• Providing consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures.
• Conducting vehicle assessments and advising clients on inspection readiness.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/trade school certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate in compliance with regulations.
• Ability to complete various forms and records.
• English communication skills; First aid certification beneficial.
