ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a technology enthusiast with a strong background in foreign trade in a fast-paced international environment looking to make your next move? We are FRAMOS, an international product-driven tech company of more than 180 amazing people from all over the world. We are looking for a skilled Customs Specialist to join our international team to achieve our strategic goals and grow our organization further. Reporting to the Demand Fulfillment Manager in Munich, you will work closely with your peers from Supply Chain. As a Customs Specialist, you will be responsible for activities related to international trade and customs regulations. This is a remote position open to candidates located in Germany.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acquire, process, monitor, and evaluate customs and export control information to ensure compliance with foreign trade laws.
• Handle customs clearance for all entities, including preparing shipping documents such as Certificates of Origin and export declarations.
• Monitor compliance with export regulations and communicate with customs authorities to ensure procedures meet legal requirements.
• Classify materials within the customs tariff and submit monthly cross-border goods movement reports (Intrastat).
• Ensure compliance with export restrictions, verifying the need for export licenses and obtaining them when necessary.
• Support the acquisition of customs-related permits, simplifications, and certifications.

YOUR PROFILE:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in B2B.
• Completed specialist training or studies in foreign trade.
• Advanced knowledge of foreign trade law, goods origin, preferential law, and customs tariff.
• Experience in preparing export documents and Intrastat declarations.
• Careful, conscientious work style.
• Confident, problem-solving attitude.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
