BI Analyst (m/w/d)

As a BI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with the BI Manager and other stakeholders to understand business needs, develop and maintain BI solutions that foster business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the BI Manager and other departments to gather and understand business requirements.
2. Develop BI solutions including creating and updating data models, reports, and dashboards.
3. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data validation and reconciliation.
4. Create user manuals for reports and dashboards, and provide support and training to end-users on BI tools and reports.
5. Maintain the BI platform, including managing user access and permissions according to data governance policies, and maintaining ETL/data pipelines for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, business informatics, or equivalent training (e.g., IT specialization).
• Strong analytical mindset, solution-oriented approach, and enthusiasm for data-driven insights.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with data modeling.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Familiarity with BI visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Snowflake.
