Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for industrial automation and sheet metal machinery ?

We’ve partnered exclusively with a renowned European machinery manufacturer to hire a Field Sales Representative to drive growth across South Germany.

This is a confidential search led by an external head-hunter working in a retained capacity —you'll be representing a technologically advanced OEM with decades of industry reputation and a strong product portfolio in automated panel bending, folding systems, and metal-forming solutions .

The Role

As Field Sales Representative, you'll :

  • Manage and grow direct customer relationships in your territory
  • Sell high-quality, capital-intensive equipment into sheet metal fabrication , HVAC , and architectural metalwork markets
  • Handle complex sales cycles including demonstrations, quotations, and contract negotiation
  • Collaborate with internal technical experts for tailored solutions

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in capital equipment , machine tool , or factory automation sales
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes (bending, folding, or laser cutting is a plus)
  • Confident in handling long-cycle technical sales and building relationships with engineering stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage a regional sales territory independently
  • Fluent in German and professional level English
