We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space, and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "M&P Surface Technology Engineer" (m / f / d).

Responsibilities:

1. Acquisition and execution of technology, development, and qualification projects in surface technologies, functional coatings, and corrosion protection.
2. End-to-end supervision of test campaigns (planning, sampling, testing, reviewing, reporting).
3. Preparation of material and process specifications, as well as process and test instructions.
4. Support for obsolescence management and change requests.
5. Support for environmental compliance programs (REACH regulation).
6. Consultancy on design, stress, quality, and manufacturing for materials and process-related inquiries.
7. Assessment of concessions and deviation requests.
8. Collaboration with external institutes.
9. Steering and collaboration with material suppliers.

Your profile:

1. Completed studies in aerospace, material science, chemistry, or a comparable qualification.
2. Experience in surface and coatings technologies, as well as corrosion protection.
3. Experience in the aerospace industry, including qualification, certification, and standardization, is preferred.
4. Proficiency in MS-Office.
5. Fluent in German and English.
6. Driving license class B / 3 is required for business trips (approximately every 2 months, 2 days in Germany and Europe).
