It hosts a diverse array of world-class art, vibrant cultural programming, and exceptional dining experiences across 5,500 square meters. The building is undergoing renovations to preserve its cultural heritage.

The Role

Our Fotografiska Line Cook assists in driving culinary excellence across the business, helping define and execute high standards for the Fotografiska Cafe and Verōnika Restaurant & Bar. Reporting directly to the Verōnika Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef, the role oversees all culinary requirements for a high-quality, seasonal, sustainable, innovative, and wellness-focused menu. Candidates should have experience in culinary leadership and high-volume, concept-driven kitchens, with an interest in diverse cuisines and creating culturally and dietary responsive menus.

Requirements
  • 2 - 4 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role in concept-driven kitchens.
  • Responsible for preparing all food items, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Participate in training, development, and mentorship to maintain recipes, portion sizes, and preparation standards.
  • Follow recipes precisely, minimize waste, and ensure quality of raw materials.
  • Promptly prepare menu items as ordered, referencing production sheets and recipes, following handling and holding guidelines.
  • Take temperatures regularly and present food as ordered, anticipating peak times to ensure timely service and minimize waste.
  • Maintain standard recipes and techniques to ensure high quality and control costs.
  • Prepare and execute seasonal and bespoke menu concepts for private and member events.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and service staff for smooth operations.
  • Ensure kitchen operations run efficiently, considering guest and employee experience.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with health, safety, and company policies, including HACCP.
  • Be present in the kitchen during prime service periods and work during scheduled times.
  • Attend all culinary trainings and meetings for growth and team consistency.
