We are looking for you, located in Bonn, Trier or Vienna (with 60% home office option) as a

UX Writer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Develop clear, concise, and consistent (micro-)copy for user interfaces, including buttons, menus, dialogue boxes, and help text based on user needs.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to understand how users interact with copy and make data-driven decisions about content.
• Create and maintain a consistent tone and style across our healthcare information system based on audience needs.
• Establish and document best practices and strategic principles for UX writing to ensure consistency and quality in user interface text.
• Review and update existing content regularly to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and up-to-date.
• Create various forms of user documentation for Dedalus products in collaboration with subject matter experts (developers, testers, product managers, architects).
• Manage and create terminology.

Your qualifications and skill requirements:

• B. Sc. in UX Design, Communication Sciences, Journalism, Design, Psychology.
• 5+ years of experience in UX writing or content strategy, preferably in a tech environment.
• Experience working within a B2B context and/or healthcare domain is a plus.
• Technical writing experience, preferably in software or healthcare industry, with familiarity in HTML or XML-based documentation tools is a plus.
• Strategic mindset to manage UX writing projects from needs assessment to implementation and review.
• Proven experience in writing copy in digital environments.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user-centered design processes.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and understandably.
• Capability to learn new technologies continuously and communicate technical principles effectively to users.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical skills and adaptability based on feedback and data.
• Experience with tools such as Figma or similar, content management systems, XML editors, and DITA standard is a plus.
• Native German speaker with good English skills.
