As a member of project teams, you’ll play a key role in the end-to-end implementation of Workday’s HCM product across a varied portfolio of customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the customer, leading or supporting the implementation of one or multiple HCM functional streams on various projects.
What you will achieve in your first 12 – 24 months
You’ll have the opportunity to learn and accomplish many things as a Workday Consultant. Here are some activities you will experience:
- Complete Workday Core HCM & Practical Certification training in your first month; undertake further Specialist Certification training within the first 6 months.
- Work on active projects under the guidance of a Functional Architect or Senior Consultant after certification.
- Collaborate closely with Data and Integration Consultants to ensure seamless integration across the application.
- Gain practical understanding of Workday’s implementation methodology at each project stage:
- Gathering and understanding customer requirements and demonstrating core Workday concepts using pre-delivered solutions;
- Translating requirements into configured solutions and conducting detailed unit testing;
- Supporting testing phases, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth deployment;
- Providing knowledge transfer and post-production support.
- Work on 1-3 full-cycle implementation projects within your first year; expand your expertise in subsequent years through additional training and project experience.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of consulting experience, either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software company;
- 3 years of relevant educational qualifications and/or experience supporting or implementing HCM/Recruiting/Talent/Learning solutions;
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time under typical circumstances.

- Quick learner with a desire to master new technologies using various learning mediums;
