Our client has been developing SaaS solutions to increase employee efficiency and engagement. They address the main administrative and HR management issues: time and activities, expense reports, personnel administration, annual reviews, and measuring well-being at work. Their solutions are used today by over one million users in all types of companies (from the chic hotel chain Accor to the surf brand Rip Curl) and particularly in those with strong growth developing internationally (Novo Nordisk, Nexthink, etc.). While they operate in the very serious field of management tools, their work is guided by the belief that management software doesn't have to be gray, ugly, or boring. That is why they attach great importance to the design of their interfaces and the user experience.
In 2022, our client celebrated its 20th anniversary and embarked on its internationalization journey by establishing its first two subsidiaries outside of France, in Barcelona and Geneva. They now want to develop their potential and footprint in the DACH market by growing their client base not only in Switzerland but also in Germany. As a European company, they are eager to lean on local culture and adapt to it in their internal collaboration.
About Your Role
Your main mission will be to help sales grow their business in Germany using a variety of marketing tactics including digital campaigns, social media, and events, supported by the global marketing teams. You will report to the Country Manager, working closely with him to ensure marketing aligns and contributes to pipeline growth. You will build a local strategy and roadmap that will best serve our goals.
Marketing Campaigns
- Build and manage the budget
- Plan integrated campaigns throughout the fiscal year
- Build buyer journeys with the most efficient tactics
- Work with the DACH PMM to define campaign topics and messaging
- Create or outsource content, including SEO-optimized content
- Drive, adjust, and analyze campaigns
- Report on performance and results
- Work with sales on lead scoring
Web and Content
- Work with global teams to manage local content on their website and marketing assets
Communication
- Work with the global communication team to build and execute the local social media strategy
- Identify the events they should attend and organize the company's presence with the global communication team
Testing, Iterating, Learning, and Reporting
- Share analysis, feedback from the field, and associated recommendations to the relevant internal teams and stakeholders to accelerate their learning curve.
Objectives
You will be measured on:
- Volume and quality of leads generated and nurtured for the sales team
- Setting up local KPI benchmarks
- Improving brand awareness and preference in the German market
Key Requirements
- You are a native German speaker and fluent in English.
- You have 5-7 years of experience in the SaaS sector or HRIS industry in Germany and a successful experience in a Marketing role.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset: ideally, you have already worked on opening the German market for a foreign company.
- You are curious, with a real desire to learn and results-oriented working methods.
- You have a strong operational spirit: you enjoy taking action and getting your hands into the field.
- You have excellent communication skills, both in writing and orally, to communicate internally and represent the company in the country.
- You are an adaptable team player, interested in collaborating with different cultures internally.
