Join our Mid-Cap Global Corporate Banking team and play an integral part in helping to gain, manage, and maintain client relationships across the DACH region in close coordination with senior Bankers.

Job Summary:

As an Associate within the DACH Mid-Cap Global Corporate Banking team, you will work with Mid-Cap Bankers as well as Product Partners (including Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Investment Banking (IB) Industry Coverage, Credit, and Treasury Services) who cover a variety of industries to provide a range of financing solutions and strategic advisory. This group focuses on mid-cap companies requiring traditional banking services and investment banking products.

The role involves managing internal and external client relationships, conducting industry and company research, assisting with credit analysis, partnering with product and industry specialists for transaction origination and execution, and handling country-level reporting.

The primary focus is on supporting deal teams and country leadership, including pitch book preparation, transaction execution, and reporting, ensuring coordination among all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have previous Corporate or Investment Banking experience with a corporate finance background.

Job responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Senior Bankers and Product Partners within DCM, ECM, and M&A teams to execute transactions from initial pitch to closing for existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare marketing materials for client meetings, covering financing options, working capital optimization, and industry analysis.
• Assist Senior Bankers in generating new revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients.
• Partner with credit underwriting teams on analysis, structuring, and documentation of credit requests.
• Develop and utilize financial models to support financing and banking transactions.
• Coordinate with product and industry coverage teams to produce and distribute client deliverables.
• Gain understanding of Morgan's full product and service offerings, including M&A, debt and equity capital markets, interest rate and currency hedging, and treasury services.
• Support country-level reporting and data management tasks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
• Relevant mid-cap experience.
• Strong corporate finance, credit, analytical, and modeling skills for collaboration with credit teams and IB industry and product teams.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Motivated, productive team player with strong partnership and communication skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
