We are working with a high-performing, fast-growing automotive company seeking a Director in Cloud Architecture & Engineering to lead their 2024 cloud architecture strategy across Germany and wider Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall cloud architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Build and manage a high-performing cloud engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and trends, proactively identifying and evaluating new solutions.
• Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and translate them into actionable cloud initiatives.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a successful leadership track record.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, principles, and best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
