A Snapshot of Your Day

Join our multidisciplinary team to develop industrial steam turbine blading. You will design and optimize high-, medium-, and low-pressure steam turbine blades, working on the development roadmap and collaborating across various company interfaces.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Contribute to product and technology development for the complete blading path of industrial steam turbines
  • Design and optimize turbine blades, support in roadmap creation and implementation
  • Focus on numerical fluid mechanics, including 3D flow calculations and efficiency optimization
  • Plan and evaluate model and field measurements, analyze feedback from the global fleet
  • Create and develop design rules, supervise R&D projects with external partners
  • Support other departments such as purchasing, production, and sales

What You Bring

  • University degree in turbomachinery, aerospace engineering, energy technology, or similar, with relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in blade design and project management
  • Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, or aeroelastics
  • Proficiency in numerical methods (CFD), preferably using ANSYS CFX
  • Desirable: knowledge of mechanics
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in German and English
