What you can expect from us

• Administration, maintenance, and optimization of our MariaDB databases
• Ensuring data integrity, availability, and security
• Carrying out performance analyses and optimizations
• Implementing backup and recovery strategies
• Supporting the planning and implementation of database migrations
• Collaborating with developers to optimize database queries and structures
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Documenting database architectures and processes
• Automating database installation and maintenance

What we expect from you

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge of MariaDB / MySQL and experience in relational database administration
• Experience with SQL and database design
• Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies and performance optimization
• Knowledge of Ansible
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) is an advantage
• Teamwork, analytical thinking, and a structured working style
• Good communication skills in German and English
