Your Tasks

• Functional leadership of a team of AI Full-Stack Developers in the international Data & Analytics unit of ALDI South
• Guidance regarding methods, tools, approaches, and best practices for Full-Stack Analytics & AI-centric applications (e.g., GenAI assistants, planning tools)
• Establishment and maintenance of a community of AI Full-Stack Developers across the business area (e.g., hiring, skill development, sharing best practices)
• Promotion of the professional development of the community through coaching and mentoring to achieve optimal work results
• Definition and challenging of the technical architecture for Full-Stack projects in the analytical environment (including GenAI components)
• Evaluation of innovative solutions regarding their practicality and applicability
• Collaboration with colleagues from IT and the business sector to oversee the implementation of business requirements into IT requirements when Full-Stack development is necessary
• Leadership of various initiatives (including managing external consultants) to further develop the topic of Full-Stack web development

Your Profile

• Several years of experience (at least five years) in leading and coaching Full-Stack Developer teams
• Solid knowledge of frontend and backend technologies such as JavaScript, React, Python, and FastAPI
• Experience in integrating generative AI technologies into web applications (e.g., common orchestration frameworks)
• Expertise in defining and implementing Full-Stack solutions in analytical environments
• Strong community-building skills for knowledge exchange and innovation promotion, coaching and skills development, as well as the ability to foster the growth and continuous development of an emerging community
• Proven ability to ensure code quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices in large development projects
• Good understanding of collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and other technology experts
• Experience working in an agile environment and with agile methodologies

Desirable:

• Experience with retail applications
• Experience in the analytics field
• Experience with reporting & other visualization tools
