I am seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong foundation in sensor data analysis to join my clients team and drive data-driven innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sensor technologies, data acquisition, and processing, enabling them to extract actionable insights and build predictive models for complex systems.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, design sensor data collection strategies, and integrate sensor data into existing data pipelines.
• Develop and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes specifically tailored for handling high-volume, real-time sensor data.
• Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns, trends, and anomalies within sensor datasets.
• Build and deploy advanced machine learning models capable of extracting meaningful insights and predictions from sensor data.
• Develop innovative solutions to address complex challenges using sensor data, such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize sensor deployment and data acquisition strategies.
• Communicate complex technical findings and insights derived from sensor data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sensor technologies, data science, and machine learning.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on sensor data analysis.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on sensor data analysis and modelling.
• Proven expertise in data acquisition, pre-processing, and feature engineering for sensor data.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling techniques, time series analysis, and signal processing for sensor data.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools for handling large-scale sensor datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for data-driven solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical insights to diverse audiences.
