Founded in Berlin, autarc is a 30 person start-up who have just graduated from the Y Combinator in San Francisco. Our team consists of people in Sales, Tech and Operations, with the Engineering department currently 9 people and looking to grow to 11 by Q2 2025.
You will be working alongside the CTO and other Engineers to help design and improve the core product, with a specific focus on integrations and service features. As we have two squads building out the Heat Pump and Solar products, we need to work on things such as billing, invoicing, and 3rd party integrations to make sure our OS is more complete.
This work will consist of building UI links and widgets, mapping out data, and correlating systems so that they work seamlessly. Additionally, we want to allow users to import and export 3D scans and renders, as an example of what impact these integrations will have.
As a Senior within the team, you will be responsible for leading Engineering initiatives and be in charge of some heavy lifting, as the CTO moves away from coding and into working on more strategy-related tasks.
Other responsibilities will include:
Building web-hooks into our APIs
Focusing on flawless Frontend designs and UI
Interacting with the Design team to improve UX
Being hands-on in designing, coding, and testing cycles for both existing and new features
Developing B2B SaaS applications
Having a high level of responsibility to turn ideas into performant and reliable code
The role is Fullstack, with a 60/40 split between Frontend & Backend.
3-5+ years of experience working for multiple start-ups
Direct involvement in building SaaS products
Experience with TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS
Exposure to local databases such as RxDB
Familiarity with cloud databases such as Postgres (Supabase)
Experience with Docker, GitHub, and fly.io
Based in Berlin with a willingness to work hybrid (office in Mitte)
Fluent in English (German is a plus)
