Aufgaben

Performs all or any combination of the following food services, food preparation, and general laborer duties, either regularly or on a rotating basis:

1. Set up glasses, silverware, butter, condiments, salads, desserts, bread, and cold beverages on serving counter as instructed. Remove soiled dishes and transport them to the dishwashing unit. Wipe or wash tables.
2. Prepare fruits and vegetables by cutting, scraping, chopping, dicing, and peeling. Operate appliances like electric potato peelers.
3. Clean, scrub, wipe, or wash service equipment such as worktables and refrigerators. Prepare dishes for dishwasher, separate food waste, prerinse dishes, and load dishwasher. Store clean dishes.
4. Perform duties related to maintaining cleanliness of the area, including cleaning kitchen equipment, tables, chairs, floors, walls, windows, and sanitizing trash cans.
5. May perform headcount duties as per PAM 30-22, managing change funds and meal sale proceeds.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• No specific experience or education required. Must be able to perform duties after brief on-the-job guidance.
• German driver's license class B is desirable.
• Language proficiency: English A1 and German A2 required. More info: Language Levels Description.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Work on weekends, holidays, and shift work required.
