As an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will bridge our enablement and feature teams, acting as a solution-oriented communicator and idea generator. You will develop scalable data infrastructure, drive real-time interaction with our data ecosystem, and identify patterns to enhance automation and decision-making.

We value in-person catch-ups at our Freiburg im Breisgau office when needed, with flexible remote work options.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT WITH US:

• Support initiatives to connect isolated data areas and expand scalable data infrastructure.
• Develop concepts for real-time storage and processing of customer data.
• Set up ETL routes for data collection, storage, processing, and transfer.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google, Azure) and data engineering tools (e.g., ETL pipelines).
• Strong SQL, Python, and infrastructure-as-code skills (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Airflow) and event-based storage (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Fluent in German and English; German knowledge is essential for team collaboration.
