Electrical Design Engineer – Solar PV Grid Connection Projects
Location: Munich, Germany
Contract Duration: 14 Months
Day Rate: €500

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to offer a contract role for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in grid connection projects for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems and infrastructure to integrate solar PV projects into existing power grids.
Work closely with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Utilities to ensure that projects comply with all regulatory standards and are executed efficiently.
Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses, including load flow, stability, and short circuit assessments specific to solar PV systems.
Develop technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documents for solar PV grid connection projects.
Provide technical support during the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of the projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
Proven experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong focus on grid connections for solar PV systems.
Experience collaborating with IPPs and Utilities is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory frameworks pertinent to electrical infrastructure and solar PV technologies.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
This position is based in the vibrant city of Munich and offers a competitive day rate of €500. The role is for a fixed term of 14 months, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of solar energy in a leading market.
