Responsibilities:

• Be part of the safety and certification team in the Project Management Office, responsible for electrical and functional safety for heavy-duty fuel cell systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and approval requirements, perform risk assessments, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Collaborate closely with HW & SW departments, development specialists, project management, sales, and quality teams.
• Lead and supervise cooperation with external consultants, customers, and suppliers, possibly involving sporadic international travel.

Qualifications:

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Assertive, strong communication skills, pragmatic, solution-oriented, and capable of moderating results-oriented discussions.
• Professional experience in electrical power systems, automotive industry, or safety technology.
• Quick learner with a basic understanding of technological contexts and evaluation skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and experience with fuel cells are advantageous.
• Proficiency in German and English.
