Job Description:

The Corporate Strategy & Business Development department, reporting to the CEO, is responsible for group strategy, mergers & acquisitions, business models, internationalization, and investment management.

Your Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage national and international M&A transactions from identification to post-merger integration.
  • Conduct financial due diligence, including valuations, plausibility checks, and business plan preparation.
  • Contribute to strategy processes at national and international levels, including functional and country strategies.
  • Prepare industry, market, and competitive analyses, and analyze future trends.
  • Analyze existing company structures and processes with departments.
  • Develop strategic concepts, decision templates, and presentations for executive boards.
  • Manage investments, governance, reporting, restructuring, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Your Profile
  • Degree in business administration, economics, or similar, with focus on finance, accounting, or strategy.
  • Experience in leasing companies, auditing, management consulting, strategy, or M&A, preferably internationally.
  • Industry knowledge from IT or leasing sectors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IFRS 16, US-GAAP, and leasing-related HGB regulations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in analysis and reporting.
  • Tax law knowledge is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and conceptual skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
