Mechanical Test Technician (m/w/d)

As a Test Technician, you will support the Resideo R&D team in the testing of potable water products that have been modified to meet new regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tests on water valves to assess flow rate, pressure drops, tightness, and product lifecycle span, supporting the team to establish testing procedures and setting up tests.

We seek a qualified mechanical test technician with reasonable written and spoken English.

JOB DUTIES:

• Test planning and execution of tests including test set-up
• Analysing the results and preparing reports
• Specification of test benches
• Application of measurement software and its maintenance
• Close cooperation with R&D to ensure compliance with standards and drinking water guidelines within the tests
• Monitoring and necessary adaptation of documents on test benches

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Certified test technician qualification in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Good MS Office skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Basic knowledge of Diadem or comparable measuring software
• Basic knowledge of drinking water fittings is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of PDM & ERP is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of national and international product standards and guidelines for drinking water fittings is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of digital measurement technology for pressure, temperature and flow of liquids is an advantage
