Job Description:

MISSION

The Brand PR & Advocacy Manager will translate core brands—especially Aperol—into meaningful, ownable storytelling with a digital-first approach, reaching a national audience while maintaining local cultural relevance.

The role involves embedding brands into culture through credible storytelling and amplifying this through targeted communication, primarily earned media, to strengthen brand messaging and increase consumer engagement and community building. Additionally, the role supports corporate PR and employer branding initiatives to enhance the local corporate reputation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

Brand PR
  • Develop and implement a culturally relevant digital PR strategy to enhance brand presence online.
  • Leverage paid, earned, and owned media, including press, broadcasts, collaborations, media partners, KOLs, influencers, and celebrities, to boost brand awareness.
Brand Advocacy
  • Engage with influencers and support native content development and amplification.
  • Identify and leverage ambassador/influencer collaborations and partners.
Local Corporate PR
  • Manage local press relations and support crisis management in collaboration with the corporate communications team.
  • Build brand protection and a positive image for the group and subsidiaries, supporting global crisis mitigation efforts.
  • Organize media training for local spokespeople as needed, following global communication guidelines.
Local Employer Branding
  • Collaborate with HR to promote local employer branding topics.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Apprenticeship, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German.
  • Good networking skills and willingness to travel.
