Job Description:

Contribute to our academic world as a Lecturer for English and German in permanent employment, in part time (20h) at our location in Berlin with a portion of remote working, starting on the 1st of September 2025.

You can expect:

• You cover specific subjects in the field of English and German Language Teaching, including courses such as Preparation Language Course English, Preparation Language Course German, Foundations of Academic English, Foundations of Business English, Applied Academic English, Applied Business English, or Project: Germany From the Inside.
• You are responsible for all student questions related to lectures and help prepare them for their professional careers.
• You confidently lead on-site courses and tutorials in English and German during the lecture period, with remote work possible during off-time.
• You design courses using high-quality learning materials provided by us, conducting preparation and follow-up remotely as needed.
• You create and grade assessments, and are responsible for designing and evaluating teaching materials (e.g., scripts, videos).

Your qualifications:

• You have a master's degree or doctorate in languages or a related discipline with a focus on anglistics.
• You have practical experience in the relevant field and subject, with knowledge of language teaching.
• You may have gained initial experience as a tutor, teacher, lecturer, or research assistant in academic teaching.
• You have a strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education, and enjoy working with students.
• You reside permanently in Germany.
• You have English and German skills at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
