Job Description

As a Software Engineer in the R&D department, you will be part of an interdisciplinary and highly skilled team. Your responsibilities include developing, commissioning, and testing electronic assemblies for medical devices, as well as programming microcontroller-based systems in compliance with applicable standards.

You will support ongoing development projects, plan and coordinate technical tasks, and ensure smooth transfer of products into production. Collaboration with various departments and external partners is essential to meet regulatory requirements and project deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

1. Application development for neuromonitors and neurostimulators, from data acquisition and physiological signal processing to user interface design.
2. Developing and maintaining software solutions using NI LabVIEW.
3. Planning and documenting all steps of the software development process.
4. Developing interfaces for device integration and hospital information systems.
5. Collaborating on new device and UI concepts, evaluating customer requirements.
6. Planning software architectures.
7. Implementing new technologies.

Qualifications

1. Degree in computer science or a related scientific field, or completed IT specialist training.
2. Several years of software development experience in LabVIEW and related tools.
3. Experience with LabVIEW Object-Oriented Programming is a plus.
4. Knowledge of at least one other programming language (C++, C#, Python, Java, etc.).
5. Goal-oriented, well-structured work ethic with resilience.
6. Strong analytical skills and concentration.
