Credit Specialties (CS) is the global practice within Marsh that delivers payment, performance, and country risk insurance knowledge and solutions through a diverse and creative team. CS encompasses key credit risk transfer products such as Non-Payment Insurance, Political Risk Insurance, Trade Credit Insurance, Surety, and Parametric Solutions.

Within Credit Specialties, the Lenders’ Solutions Group (LSG) was established in 2013 as a dedicated industry group supporting financiers with expertise in structuring, syndication, and placement of credit-related insurance solutions across various asset classes including project and export finance, aviation finance, receivables, supply chain finance, surety, and portfolios.

Reporting to the LSG Leader for Europe, your responsibilities will include:

Growth:

  • Developing and elaborating our value proposition with supporting documentation;
  • Promoting cross-selling and multi-product solutions to existing and new LSG clients, including Trade Credit, Non-Payment Insurance, Surety, and Portfolio Solutions;
  • Creating content for local LSG Credit Specialties brochures and marketing materials;
  • Driving new initiatives and fostering innovation.

External Presence:

  • Participating in local regulatory discussions related to CRM under Basel regulations and local implementation;
  • Representing Marsh’s LSG offerings at local events, conferences, panels, and speaking engagements such as ITFA, BAFT, LMA.

Internal Coordination:

  • Disseminating market information to local in-country teams;
  • Organizing local trainings and workshops as needed.

Operational:

  • Maintaining up-to-date client and prospect lists;
  • Tracking revenue performance.

Profile:

  • Strong commercial skills, public speaking ability, and constructive engagement with external stakeholders;
  • 3-7 years’ experience in financial services, credit insurance underwriting, or brokering, with familiarity in insurance topics and syndication/distribution across asset classes such as trade finance, structured trade & export finance, project finance, commodity finance, and syndication;
  • Solid financial skills, securitization knowledge is a plus;
  • Experience in trade finance;
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in an additional European language;
  • Multicultural mindset, willingness to travel and interact internationally;
  • Operational excellence and attention to detail are essential.
