Are you a Subcontract Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Hamburg on a permanent basis.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi-Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering, and delivery of facilities for high-tech industries. Responsibilities:

1. Functionally reporting to the Project Procurement Manager (PPM)
2. Keep track of subcontractor progress and performance
3. Confirm quantities on re-measurable scopes/contracts
4. Support the subcontractor invoice payment process by checking/releasing payment certificates
5. Claim Management to and from the subcontractor
6. Change/Variation order management
7. Close cooperation with Engineering/Design, Scheduling and Project Management to mitigate the risk of delay or negative financial impact
8. Successfully negotiate contract close outs
9. Support our continuous improvement philosophy by providing regular feedback (Lessons Learned)

Qualifications:

1. You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or engineering
2. You have at least five years of working/project experience in large-scale construction and engineering projects
3. You have experience in managing subcontractors within projects
4. You possess a high level of commercial awareness to guide your daily work
5. You are experienced in working with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), SAP (beneficial), and have a fluent level in spoken and written German (at least B2) and good knowledge of English
6. You have a proactive mindset to act, deliver results, and collaborate across the organization
7. You actively make decisions and take ownership of your choices
8. You are open to working in dynamic projects and see change as an opportunity to grow
9. You are committed to your development and encourage others to explore beyond their comfort zone
