The EU AMXL 3PL Procurement Team is growing, and we are hiring a Procurement Specialist with a European-wide scope to join the team in Luxembourg.

Key job responsibilities

1. Define and implement sourcing initiatives and contracts to achieve business objectives and foster sustainable supplier relationships.
2. Manage existing contracts effectively.
3. Lead savings projects and deliver value to the business.
4. Identify alternative suppliers, materials, or processes.
5. Drive effective delivery of EU AMXL 3PL procurement metrics by leading/supporting projects, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
6. Utilize multiple databases and systems to provide accurate metrics, reporting, and analytics to evaluate team performance.

A day in the life

As a Sourcing Specialist, you support the EU AMXL 3PL Procurement and business teams by executing operational purchasing tasks, managing projects, and engaging in process improvements. This includes sourcing projects, identifying savings opportunities, leading/supporting initiatives, creating documentation and training, analyzing root causes, and supporting sourcing operations optimization.

About the team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances. Our team manages the entire service—from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns—adding extra customer care by unpacking, assembling, installing, and removing old items. Focused on safety, productivity, and innovation, we are transforming how customers buy and receive large goods.

We plan to expand our specialized fulfillment, sorting, reverse logistics, and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Most team members work during the day, with some night shifts in delivery stations. Our team includes professionals in operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and program management, all vital to our growth.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience in 3PL Operations or Procurement
• Background in contract management
• Fluency in English and at least one European language
• Proficiency in data analysis and management review preparation
• Strategic Procurement experience
• Experience in Heavy Bulky business
• Background in developing procurement initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and mitigate supply risks
• Experience in spend assessment, market analysis, understanding trends, and forecasting
