Jobbeschreibung

At Mollie, we’re on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. We started 20 years ago when we launched a more direct, affordable way for companies to get paid. That provided an alternative to the frustrating, overpriced solutions that banks offered at the time. Today, we serve more than 250,000 businesses across Europe with an all-in-one solution that simplifies payments and money management. And we’re a 850-strong team of product, finance, support, commerce, and engineering specialists working across Europe – from Lisbon to London.

Your opportunity:

As our new Junior Account Executive (m/w/d), you will be part of our Mollie’s Sales team in DACH. We are seeking motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who are eager to learn, driven by data, and ready to make a meaningful impact. You will focus on medium and large web shops with complex needs, requiring C-level and in-depth sales conversations.

You will have full ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting, engaging, nurturing leads, and understanding their pain points to creating compelling offers that fit their business needs perfectly. Your ultimate objective is to expand our customer base into the small and medium-sized segment and turn your newly signed customers into strong Mollie ambassadors.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Career Opportunity: Start a successful career in SaaS/FinTech Sales, whether you have made the first steps in sales or are new to it but excited about tech and talking to people.
  2. Own the Pipeline: Manage a deal pipeline of new customers, taking full responsibility from first contact through to becoming a live customer.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the onboarding and risk teams early in the sales process to expedite conversion while managing risk for Mollie.
  4. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with partners and various stakeholders, including client-side, internal, and third parties, to accelerate integration and get customers live.
  5. Performance Reporting: Utilize available dashboards and funnel management tools to report and discuss performance. Apply your analytical skills to understand the market and devise an adapted strategy.
What you'll bring:
  • Strong relationship-building skills, transparency, honesty, and a consultative sales approach.
  • Confidence in discussing technical solutions with potential clients.
  • Willingness to learn and do outbound sales.
  • Some experience in sales is preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in German with excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting in English (required). Please do not apply if you are not fluent in German.
Benefits:
  • MacBook
  • Birthday off
  • Complimentary baby days
  • 20 days working from abroad
  • 28 holiday days
  • Work from home budget
  • Bike lease plan
  • Health insurance
  • Equity plans
  • Referral bonus
  • Learning platform
