Job Title : Business Development Manager / Director – Full Service CRO

Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities in research and development services for pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
- Proactively search for relevant tenders on various platforms and independently manage the tender process, including document analysis and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Prepare and negotiate detailed business proposals and contracts.
- Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and at industry events and conferences.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
- Monitor, track, and report business development activities and results to senior management.
Candidate Profile :
- A university degree, preferably in Natural or Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, or Business Administration.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing within the R&D services sector for pharmaceuticals and / or medical devices. Experience in clinical research, biostatistics, data management, or market access is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of industry dynamics, current trends, and key challenges.
- Strong ability to assess client needs, develop tailored solutions, and lead them through the adoption process.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with confidence in building long-term professional relationships.
- Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis software is a plus.
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
