About this Position
As a Strategy Manager for New Business and Adjacencies within Henkel Adhesive Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our future growth by identifying and executing innovative market strategies, with a focus on M&A strategy development for New Business/Adjacencies.
What you´ll do
- Conduct in-depth market and industry analyses of complex new growth areas and drive (inorganic) strategy development.
- Structure and analyze new, often complex, topics independently and develop hypotheses on solutions going forward.
- Lead and manage large-scale strategic projects, ensuring alignment across senior stakeholders within the organization.
- Prepare high-impact presentations and strategic recommendations for top management to support decision-making at the highest level.
- Leverage AI tools for advanced M&A target scouting and stay updated with latest developments to enhance methodologies.
- Build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders across Adhesive Technologies and advise them on strategic questions.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership of the New Business function.
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree (preferably in science, but not mandatory).
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in science (chemistry) or related business areas.
- Experience in developing actionable strategies, including market/industry analyses and hypothesis-based thinking.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and excellent business acumen.
- Self-starter mindset with high ownership, curiosity, adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
