What? [You'll be doing]

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll join our growing team of 15 ML engineers. There is ample room for your ideas, and as our team expands, we support your growth ambitions. We value proactivity and responsibility in your work.

Responsibilities [but not limited to]

• Become a key member of our ML Engineering team.
• Work in small teams on ML projects for innovative Berlin-based clients across various industries, including sharing economy and MedTech.
• Develop and deploy robust ML applications.
• Apply your knowledge in data engineering, computer science, and ML, utilizing technologies like Kubernetes, Airflow, and Kafka.
• Translate technical aspects for business stakeholders, focusing on human impact to maximize ML application benefits.
• Manage multiple projects and contribute to the growth of Enjins.

Onboarding and Growth Milestones

Within 1 month

• Complete the Enjins ML Engineering onboarding and become a certified cloud practitioner in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Begin your first client project.

Within 3 months

• Develop and implement ML solutions, improve integrations, and build your ML engineering skills.
• Engage in feedback sessions to enhance your consulting and project management skills.

Within 6 months

• Identify effective tools and methods.
• Assist in hiring new ML engineers.
• Help clients accelerate their project velocity.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant background in Machine Learning Engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
• Ambitious, pragmatic, proactive, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable engaging with executive-level clients.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Git.
• Fluent in German and English; eligible to work in Berlin.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering components.
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes & Docker), networking, ETL/ELT, and basic MLOps concepts.
• Passionate about exploring new technologies and continuous learning.
