Summary:

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and creative Technical Artist. The ideal candidate will provide technical solutions to aesthetic challenges at the engine level across various art disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with artists to optimize assets and materials in Unreal Engine.
  2. Define pipelines and workflows within Unreal Engine, devising solutions to enhance art quality and effects while maintaining performance.
  3. Utilize external tools such as 3D software, material editors, and procedural tools.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of lighting, particle systems, post-process effects, material setup, and workflows in Unreal or Unity.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk products (Max, Maya), Substance, and experience translating assets into game engines.
  • Open-mindedness to explore new tools and workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and teamwork.
  • Effective communication across disciplines.
  • Interest in real-time strategy and role-playing games is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in Germany/EU.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Positive, team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated attitude.
