Eurofins Analytik GmbH, situated in Hamburg-Harburg, is part of the globally active Eurofins laboratory network offering chemical and biological analysis as well as competent consultancies for food, feed, non-food products, and pet food.

To strengthen our team at Eurofins Analytik, we are looking for a Food Chemist (m/f/d) who will act as a Customer Advisor/Analytical Service Manager.

The Manager will be in charge of supporting and advising our clients on food law, quality-related, technical, and analytical issues. They will be responsible for preparing and reviewing test reports and food law assessments, as well as organizing and timely processing of food testing samples, including subcontracting. The person will also be tasked with creating solutions to quality issues and other matters to ensure clients' satisfaction.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have completed studies (bachelor or master) in Food Chemistry, including the related second-state examination.

In-depth knowledge of food law and food analysis would be a strong plus, as well as experience with dealing with a laboratory information management system (LIMS).

Fluent German and English are required.

Other relevant skills include strong customer orientation and commitment; excellent organization and communication skills; teamwork, resilience, and flexibility; and the ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
